【國際教育這條路】英國 Bristol十大最佳公立中學

上一篇介紹了Bristol的公立小學，今次就輪到公立中學。根據當地媒體Bristol Live的報導，「The Real Schools Guide 2020」為區內公立中學評分，評審項目多達51項，其中包括﹕GCSE成績、GCSE最佳八科成績、最佳八科進步指數、師生比例、缺席率等等。

Bristol 十大最佳公立中學:

1.          Bradley Stoke Community School

2.          Redland Green School

3.          Colston’s Girls’ School

4.          St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School

5.          Bristol Metropolitan Academy

6.          Wellsway School

7.          Bristol Cathedral Choir School

8.          Bristol Free School

9.          St Bede’s Catholic College

10.      Fairfield High School

以上十所學校在Ofsted的評級大部份為Outstanding，亦即表示一定是相當熱門的學校。不過其中三間評分是Good，就是Wellsway School、St Bede’s Catholic College以及Fairfield High School，家長可以多加留意這兩間，也許競爭沒有Outstanding那些來得激烈。最特別一間是Bristol Free School，Ofsted評分居然是requires improvement，家長值得仔細研究一下，看看它是不是「禾稈冚珍珠」。
